Hon. Julian Francis, Minister of Transport and Works,  said that the Fenton/Belair bypass road remains an issue of high priority for the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

He made the point while responding to a question in Parliament on Friday, 28th October, in relation to the expected date of commencement of the project.

Minister Francis said that the necessary studies have been conducted, and work is expected to begin upon completion of the tendering process.

He also noted that an extensive road repair program will be conducted in Central Kingstown in the New Year.
