The Ministry of Transport, Works, Lands, and Physical Planning would like to inform the Residents of Mt. Pleasant, Majorca, Freeland, Mesopotamia Valley and the General Public that road works are underway for the Mt. Pleasant to Freeland Road.

Please be informed that the section of road between Busy Corner and Mahpoo Hill will be closed to vehicular traffic, from June 6th, 2024 to June 28, 2024, to facilitate the road works. We recommend re-routing through Cane End to travel from Majorca/Mt. Pleasant to Freeland.

Pedestrians, motorists, and other road users are asked to exercise caution and take notice of all signs and instructions by Road Supervisors. The Ministry thanks you for your cooperation in this endeavour.  Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.
