Due to a failed retaining wall and cracked road surface, the Ministry of Transport, Works, Lands and Surveys and Physical Planning would like to inform the General Public of the closure of the Sybil Hill Road, as road safety has become unassured.

As a result, we advise that the developed bypass road from the Spring Village bridge to the Cumberland Hydro Power Station, shall be used as an alternative route during this period in traversing the Leeward Highway in that location.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time and ask that road users take notice of all road signage and exercise due care and diligence during their daily travel.
