The Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, and Physical Planning would like to inform the residents of Gomea, Pilgrim Hill/Pansombe Hill, Evesham and surrounding areas, as well as the general public, that the Roads, Buildings, and General Services Authority (BRAGSA) will be carrying out phase one of road works along Pilgrim Hill/Pansombe Hill road between the Top Gomea Junction and Evesham.
Works will begin on Monday, February 23, 2026, and are expected to last for two weeks.
The closure is necessary to facilitate essential infrastructural improvement works, including the preparation of the road surface and asphalt paving. During this period, the road will be closed. Persons traveling to Evesham are advised to use the Green Corner Junction at La Croix. There will be no entry to Pilgrim Hill/Pansombe Hill from Evesham.
Residents and other road users approaching the area are asked to exercise caution, take notice of all road signs displayed, and abide by instructions issued by road supervisors when approaching the area.
