The Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure and Physical Planning would like to inform residents of Gomea and surrounding areas, as well as the general public, that the Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority (BRAGSA) will be carrying out road works in Gomea, between the junction near Jimmie Forde’s residence and the Georgie Gutter junction.

Works will take place as follows:

• Thursday, 19th March, 2026 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
• Friday, 20th March, 2026 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
• Sunday, 22nd March, 2026 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

During these periods, the road will be closed.

The closure is necessary to facilitate the milling of the road and the preparation of the road surface.

Residents and other road users approaching the area are asked to exercise caution, take note of all road signs displayed, and abide by instructions issued by road supervisors.
