Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Physical Planning Hon Nigel Stephenson is appealing to Vincentians to remain vigilant.

Minister Stephenson said some areas are still saturated with water and citizens must continue to exercise caution as authorities take steps to address the situation.

Minister Stephenson also spoke of flooding at the Campden Park Bridge.

"Minister of Transport Proper and Infrastructure , they are the first responders according to the law, so when there is a nation disaster then our Ministry is required to be the first people on the road to do the assessments. So, that is precise of what we are doing now and that we are having a good feel of what has happened and we are asking the people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to be vigilant because the whole place is saturated and we do not know with this saturation and the work of gravity if there would be further landslides. But I want to the opportunity to commend my Constituents because this area that area down there Sweet Spot the bridge that was flooded and full of debris, and it was an individual who did not wait on me to call but came out and single handedly cleared the road. "
